Steel Towing Cable

Its main strength lies in its robustness and longevity. It withstands repeated mechanical stress well and effectively resists corrosion, making it an economical choice for long-term intensive use.

However, its limitations quickly become apparent in daily operations. The greater the towing capacity, the larger the cable's diameter, making it heavy and difficult to handle. This constraint is particularly noticeable on construction sites or in difficult weather conditions.

Another critical point concerns safety. In the event of breakage, a steel cable can create a dangerous whipping effect for operators, requiring strict usage precautions.

Static Towing Strap

The static towing strap has been known for a long time and is widely used by both individuals and professionals.

These are flat textile traction slings, not to be confused with round ones.

It is particularly appreciated for its lightness and ease of use. Easy to transport, simple to store, and quick to install, it provides a practical solution for occasional interventions. Its reduced weight and flexibility also limit the risk of injury during handling.

Dynamic Towing Sling

The dynamic towing sling meets the most varied towing requirements. It is made of high-performance synthetic fibers suitable for both light vehicles and the heaviest construction machinery.

It typically offers towing capacities from 20 tons to 250 tons. Furthermore, it is resistant to water, abrasion, hydrocarbons, and alkalis. To further extend its lifespan, it is protected by an external sleeve.

Each model is sized according to weight and traction constraints, to ensure optimal performance and safe use in the field. This modular design allows for precise adjustment of the equipment to actual use, whether for roadside assistance, construction site intervention, or towing industrial machinery.

Using kinetic energy

Aside from its very high towing capacity, one of its major advantages is its dynamic design. Thanks to a particular manufacturing technique, the strap will stretch up to 33% under the effect of traction. It actually stores part of the tractor vehicle's energy, then releases it—gently—to the vehicle being towed.

This elasticity even allows the tractor vehicle to gain some momentum before starting the tow. This is ideal if you need to climb a steep and slippery slope with a machine weighing several tens of tons. Something a steel cable would not allow.
