Megatrack® Pro Tow Strap

Our synthetic rope tow straps are designed to facilitate vehicle towing on difficult and slippery terrain. Lightweight yet robust, they stand out for their extreme maneuverability. Versatile, these kinetic ropes are suitable for the most extreme towing operations, from a car stuck in the forest to construction equipment bogged down in sand.

Patented Technology

The Megatrack®, designed and manufactured by Corderie Gautier, is a unique dynamic tow strap worldwide. It can outperform traditional cables and slings that risk breaking under high loads. Its patented technology makes it the benchmark for heavy-duty towing.

The Megatrack® consists of a high-strength kinetic rope with a spliced loop at each end for a secure anchor point. Its design allows for up to 33% elongation, providing progressive traction that protects the vehicle, equipment, and operator.

Manufactured to withstand the most extreme conditions, it also offers excellent abrasion resistance, ensuring long-term durability and reliability.

Shock Absorption for Greater Flexibility

The dynamic capacity of the rope reduces tension on the vehicle and its attachment points.

Furthermore, its elongation, at maximum load, can reach up to 33% of its initial size. This is considerable. It's no wonder that the jolts experienced are much less severe than during towing with a static sling. They are distributed and absorbed along the entire length of the sling.

Your contact points on the towed vehicle are much less stressed and thus preserved. A real comfort for vehicles and their occupants.

In a word: efficient

Strength, resistance, maneuverability. Whatever the model chosen, MEGATRACK® tow straps do not compromise on their efficiency. For a finished length between 5 and 7 meters, our standard models tow loads up to 99 tons. For these exceptional loads, the slings are heavily used. Lined with a protective sheath along their entire length, they better resist abrasion and wear. They are also treated to withstand alkalis and hydrocarbons.

What about weight? It is not a guarantee of strength. At equal diameter, steel tow cables are very heavy and difficult to handle. The weight-to-performance ratio for MEGATRACK is exceptional!

Heavy-duty applications: safety and performance

Industrial sites, public works, construction, raw material extraction, forestry, non-road heavy-duty transport: for all these activities, MEGATRACK® tow straps are an alternative to classic chains and towing cables.

The extreme conditions encountered, combined with the heavy loads being towed, make towing operations delicate. Before freeing a bogged-down or broken-down machine, access to the anchor points is required.

Light and maneuverable, the strap has the advantage of fitting into hard-to-reach corners to hook up the machine.

In its standard model, it has a towing capacity of up to 250 tons.

Technical Expertise and Know-How Made in France

Rope manufacturing is our business. Over time, we have developed our expertise and combined it with the growing technicality of synthetic fibers.

We have long used polyamide for our marine ropes to safely moor boats. When assembled using a specific process, the braiding of polyamide fibers gives the rope a dynamic elastic effect. Therefore, we wanted to exploit these exceptional properties of double braiding for our tow straps.

Designed and manufactured in our workshops in France, they guarantee the quality of the fibers used and compliance with current towing standards.

Specifically designed for vehicle towing and recovery, Megatrack adapts perfectly to the weight of the vehicle to be towed and the intervention conditions: mud, sand, slope, stuck load, or unstable terrain.

In case of breakage, cables can detach abruptly and cause a whiplash effect on the operator. Using a kinetic rope helps absorb this shock wave, better protecting the operator and their vehicle.

Standard or Custom-Made

The MEGATRACK® range includes standard dynamic slings with towing capacities ranging from 7 to 99 tons.

For public works, specific non-road applications, and beyond 99 tons of required towing force, we design custom slings. They are manufactured in our workshops in France.

L'élingue de traction dynamique, comment ça marche ?

Lors d’un remorquage classique avec une barre de traction, le véhicule tracteur est mis à forte contribution pour dégager l’engin embourbé. Lorsque vous utilisez une élingue de traction, vous exploitez l’inertie de votre véhicule pour le remorquage.
