What are our climbing nets?

A climbing net is made with a thick, robust rope, with square and wide meshes to allow climbing with hands and feet.
It can take many forms and be used for leisure or sports training.

At Corderie Gautier, we have been specialists in ropes and custom-made products for over twenty years.

Climbing net

For sports halls, sports training and various professions.

Often rectangular or square, they can reach large dimensions.
On a metal or wooden frame, or securely suspended from a beam, this climbing net becomes a real wall to overcome.

A bootcamp training, an obstacle for the physical exercise of professionals: this net will meet your expectations.
For a fitness trail or a complete sports program, you can add the climbing rope to your challenges, for an intense and complementary physical exercise of arms and legs.

Climbing net for tree climbing parks

To install obstacles on fitness trails, play areas or tree climbing parks, climbing nets can take any shape and size you desire.

Along a wooden or rope bridge, suspended above a void, in the form of a tunnel to access a platform… the possibilities are endless.

We recommend a polypropylene net.
Resistant to water and UV, supporting heavy loads and with a long lifespan, it is the ideal equipment for installations that last for many years.

Climbing net at home

Do you want to please your children so they can play in the garden?
These equipment items are not reserved for professional use; you can easily install them at home, in an outbuilding, or in the garden.
It will be a play area that will entertain children, and adults too.

Which material to choose?

We manufacture our climbing nets in 2 materials: natural hemp rope, or a synthetic textile fiber that closely resembles hemp, which is textured polypropylene.

Hemp rope is resistant and provides an excellently natural look.
Sensitive to humidity and bad weather, it is strongly recommended to use a hemp climbing net only indoors, or at least in a place sheltered from rain.

Textured polypropylene, or synthetic hemp, is visually identical to hemp rope.
Your climbing net will therefore look completely natural.
However, it has certain advantages: rot-proof, resistant to water and UV. Outdoors, the lifespan of the net will be about 5 times longer than that of a natural rope.
If you are installing a sports course or equipping an outdoor playground, this is the material to choose.

How to attach it?

The attachment of your climbing net will depend on its shape and context of use.
A square net to create an obstacle on a metal or wooden frame will be attached at several points along its entire height.

A climbing net on a fitness trail or a tree climbing park, intended to be more flexible and mobile, might only be attached at its four corners, using stainless steel thimbles and very robust rings or eyebolts.
