Crop protection against wind

Windbreak netting is effective for protecting plantings, young shoots and crops against excessively strong winds.

Used in areas exposed to wind gusts, it prevents plantings or fruit trees from being buffeted, flattened by squalls or even broken.

Windbreak netting is generally used for crops, by farmers or market gardeners. But it can also be used in the home garden.
It will protect small fruit trees and fragile shoots if your land is exposed to and subject to wind gusts.
Protecting plants and crops from excessively strong winds also further protects them from cold or drought.

Our nets are between 2 and 4 meters wide, and are always cut to the desired length according to your needs.

Different levels of opacity

Because each region, each hillside and each crop is different, we offer windbreak nets with different levels of opacity and effectiveness: 65%, 75% and 85%.

High effectiveness and opacity will be sought to protect truly sensitive crops, or if your plot of land is very exposed to winds.

Filtering the wind without stopping it

Windbreak nets come in different weights and different levels of opacity, to adapt to your situation and your region or climate.
A completely opaque element or a barrier that would completely stop the wind is not the best solution: the wind thus stopped by the obstacle would exert all its force on it, risking breaking or bending your fence, barrier or panel.

The windbreak net will filter the wind by 65 to 85%, but will always let it pass.
The force of the wind is thus sufficiently limited to preserve your crops, but not enough to risk breaking the fence.

Weather resistant

Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), our windbreak nets are rot-proof: they are obviously designed for outdoor use and are not afraid of rain or humidity.
Summer and winter, they will reduce the force of the wind on your crops.

If the height of the net is sufficient, it also protects against large lateral gusts with rain that can weaken young shoots and buds.
