Textile lifting slings

Lifting slings are essential accessories for safely lifting, moving, and handling loads. Depending on the need, they can be made of wire rope, chain, or textile.

As rope specialists, we offer a range of high-strength synthetic fiber textile slings, including flat slings compliant with standard EN 1492-1 and round slings compliant with standard EN 1492-2.

Textile slings are valued for their lightness, flexibility, and ease of handling. They are perfectly suited for lifting fragile or unusually shaped loads, while being compact and easy to store.

Choosing the right lifting sling

To select a suitable sling, it is essential to consider:

  • the type of sling (flat or round) depending on the nature of the load;
  • the effective length, which must be adapted to your lifting configuration;
  • the WLL (Working Load Limit), which must never be exceeded;
  • the rigging accessories (hooks, shackles, etc.) which must be compatible with the sling's capacity.

Following the manufacturer's recommendations and using compliant accessories ensures that lifting operations are carried out under the best safety conditions.

Safety during lifting operations

Before each use, check the condition of the sling, the compatibility of the accessories, and the actual weight of the load. Textile slings must never be knotted or used directly on sharp edges without appropriate protection. It is also recommended to limit lifting angles to preserve the overall load capacity.
