This fiber is primarily produced in South America. It is used to make a very light beige, straw-like rope.
It certainly has decorative appeal and can be an alternative to hemp, as it is much cheaper.
It is also used for "Froissartage," which means building wooden cabins or structures without using nails.
Naturally biodegradable, it leaves no trace of your presence or activities in nature. Similarly, in the garden, you can use it for all your ties and incorporate it into compost.
Sisal rope for cat trees
This natural rope is a product used in pet stores for making "cat trees" as well as for parrot cage setups (only natural materials do not harm animals).
Sold in 100m coils, you will have enough sisal rope to wrap several posts, or regularly replace the rope once it's worn out.
Our beloved felines love to sharpen their claws on a cat tree, and this protects your furniture.
Sisal rope in 6mm or 8mm is generally a good diameter for your cat tree.
It is available as twisted rope but also as a ball of twine, with twine being the basic strand of the rope.
Non-contractual visuals.
