Waxed thread or greased thread

Spool of coated polyester thread that adheres perfectly to ropes.

This thread, specially coated with an animal tallow-based mixture, is perfect for your whipping but also for stitching on halyards and leather.

Highly resistant to traction (breaking strength of approximately 35 daN), this thread will allow you to make good whippings that will ensure greater longevity for your halyards or mooring lines.

It is also the essential thread for leather stitching.

Standard diameter 1 mm (diameter between 0.8 and 1.1 mm depending on the batch).

Length: approximately 55 meters for the 50g spool, and approximately 110 meters for the 100g spool.

This thread can also be used for jewelry making.
