A natural hemp lunge line handcrafted in Alsace

There is mass-produced equestrian equipment, and then there is equipment chosen for the quality of its craftsmanship. This natural hemp lunge line clearly belongs to the latter category.

It is made individually in Alsace by Sarah, an artisan saddler and harness maker, with whom we developed this horse lunge line. Each piece is handcrafted using traditional saddlery and cordage techniques: no industrial manufacturing, but genuine French craftsmanship.

Hemp: a natural grip and a character that evolves

Used in cordage for centuries, hemp is valued for its strength, but also for its distinctive feel. This hemp horse lunge line offers a firm and comfortable grip, with a raw appearance that develops a natural patina over time.

Its natural shades and plant-based material give it a simple, authentic, unpretentious aesthetic. A lunge line equally suited for everyday tasks at the stable as for hand-walking or trail rides.

Handcrafted finishes right down to the snap hook

The nickel-plated snap hook is mounted on a hand-made splice, then secured with a waxed-thread binding. This traditional finish avoids plastic parts and machine stitching at the attachment point, while providing a neat and durable finish.
