It is the modern version of hemp!
This discontinuous textured polypropylene rope perfectly imitates hemp while offering exceptional weather resistance.
This rope is made with yarn selected for its quality criteria (UV protection treatment, virgin polypropylene granules).
It was thanks to the advice of our customers (Recouvrance, Fleur de Lampaul, Etoile Marine, la Boudeuse...) that we adapted the rope to the needs of traditional sailing. The 4-strand rope, ideal for sheet lines, also offers greater resistance to abrasion and tension, as well as less stretch. Finally, its light beige color is the closest to hemp.
Note: for sail rigging, it is also available in 3 strands by order.
You can use it for halyards, sheets, sheets, shrouds... in short, for all your rigging.
Another exception from Corderie Gautier, this rope is available from 5 mm diameter to 80 mm diameter, so you can use it for several applications while maintaining a decorative unity.
