Sandow Polyester Monoflex UV and abrasion resistant
Single-strand shock cord with a woven polyester sheath, offering exceptional resistance to UV and abrasion. Designed for marine and demanding outdoor applications. Available from 4 to 12 mm.
Monoflex® polyester shock cord: designed to withstand extreme conditions
Between the sun, salt spray and repeated friction, shock cords used outdoors are put to the test. The Monoflex® polyester shock cord was designed precisely to withstand these stresses, with a 100% polyester woven sheath offering excellent resistance to UV and abrasion (5/5).
Unlike shock cords with a polypropylene or polyethylene sheath, polyester retains its integrity better when exposed to the elements. A real advantage for installations permanently exposed to the weather.
Its natural rubber single-strand core ensures consistent and uniform elasticity, with good stretch recovery after being stretched. This elastic cord thus combines mechanical strength with ease of use, even under repeated stress.
A high-strength shock cord for marine and outdoor use
On a boat, shock cords are constantly put to work: securing a cover, holding a tarp in place, lashing equipment on deck… All applications where resistance to friction and the sun makes all the difference.
The Monoflex® marine shock cord is particularly suited to these uses, but is also suitable for outdoor installations, professional equipment, and applications requiring durable elastic cordage.
Available in 5 diameters, from 4 to 12 mm, this high-strength shock cord allows you to choose the right balance between elasticity and tensile strength depending on your use.
