Features
This halyard is composed of an aramid core (Technora; Kevlar) and a 16-plait polyester braided cover.
The core of this rope is made of parallel Technora cores.
Very low elongation under working load: < 1.5%
Very stable under tension and highly resistant in clutches.
High breaking strength and abrasion resistance.
Standard diameters: 3 to 8 mm.
The color varies depending on the selected diameter.
Use
The Sirocco halyard is ideal for regattas for use on a dinghy or a light cruiser.
It can be used for running rigging, outhaul tackles, downhauls, etc.
This halyard is very suitable for control lines during dinghy regattas.
