We can whip the ends of your ropes.
For example, if you buy a rope:
- for a handrail, whipping secures the strands, thus ensuring greater durability during installation.
- on halyards, whipping prevents "socking" (fraying and unraveling).
- on a mooring line, whipping prevents the rope from unraveling or unlaying due to repeated handling and friction.
Whipping the end of a rope significantly increases its lifespan.
They are handcrafted in our splicing workshops.
