Sea Festival from July 8 to 11, 2021

For 4 days, from July 8 to 11, 2021, Corderie Gautier will be present at the sea festival in Boulogne-sur-Mer.

Every 2 years, this event for sea and sailing enthusiasts is an opportunity to discover old traditional boats, learn more about sailors' stories and customs, hear songs…
An outing for the whole family!

The Opal Coast opens up to you with its rich maritime heritage.
Come admire old rigs, these large, old sailboats with their wooden hulls and hemp ropes that are as many windows on history and the sea.
Many boats parade on this occasion and it is possible to sail with crews delighted to share this moment with visitors.
For a few hours, embark on traditional sailboats, watch the sailors maneuver the sails, and glide over the sea.

And even if they are magnificent, these old sailboats are not everything!
Also discover a flotilla of other boats such as administrative or fishing vessels.
At the exhibition, as you browse the stands, you will discover traditional Breton songs, music, and clothing.

Several festive villages will take you through the arts, eras, and trades of the sea.
About twenty associations from all over the Opal Coast, model makers, shipbuilders, sculptors…
And of course Corderie Gautier as a rope and net manufacturer.
