- Guying cable made from aramid fibers (Kevlar; Technora).
- Melting temperature: 450°C.
- Depending on your requirements, we can also sheath this textile cable for enhanced protection and extended service life: aramid fiber is sensitive to UV exposure.

Stay cable: lightweight and easy to handle
Textile cable made from high-tenacity aramid fibres (such as Kevlar or Technora) offers excellent tensile strength and is highly stable: low elongation and no creep.
It is the ideal replacement for steel or stainless steel cable.
Advantages of aramid guy wire
- Anti-twist; does not buckle or deform.
- Higher tensile strength than steel for an equivalent diameter.
- Lightweight and easy to handle.
- Very low elongation at break: < 3.5%
- Highly stable fibre: no creep
- Heat-resistant.
Aramid fibre offers excellent tensile strength and is therefore ideal for use as a stay, replacing steel or stainless steel cable.
This textile fibre shroud cable can be used on a sailing boat, but also to support an aerial, a shade sail or even a mast.
Splice on core lug
We carry out your stainless steel core lug splices for you directly in our workshops, made to measure.
On a sailing boat, shrouds are cables used to keep the mast upright. They are attached on either side of the mast.
