A hay net with small mesh is ideal for slow feeding.
It mechanically reduces the speed of forage intake, which has many benefits for horse health:

The small 30 and 35 mm mesh make our hay nets effective slow feeders.
Intense slow feeding should be reserved for horses that are already accustomed to it. If you want to start slow feeding, order a hay net with larger 100 mm mesh.
