Ready-to-use pine tar for wood protection
Liquid Pine Tar
Liquid pine tar prevents wood from drying out and cracking: it is when wood is dry and cracked that it becomes permeable to water and mold sets in.
This ready-to-use pine tar is obtained from the carbonization of pine. It is guaranteed to be 100% natural. It requires no prior preparation; you can use it directly (if the wood is raw or already sanded).
Viscosity varies with the season: rather liquid and easy to spread in summer, this product becomes much more viscous and difficult to spread in winter, as soon as it gets cold.
Natural Wood Protection
This pine tar has been used in Scandinavia for centuries to protect and preserve houses, churches, boats, pontoons, tools, and all wooden objects in general.
Pine tar is a wood protection designed by nature itself; it is entirely natural, harmless to the environment, and 100% biodegradable. This oil has a particular "smoked wood" scent.
The Vikings already used Norway tar for caulking their longships and protecting the wood of their homes.
The ready-to-use wood tar is applied with a brush to all woods and all species, except exotic or pressure-treated woods. It does not blister or flake. Our new formula is even more effective! The finish darkens the natural shade of the wood and gives it a very dark, deep black color.
Applications
This pine oil is suitable for both indoor wood protection (beams, framework, solid wood doors, etc.) and outdoor use: decks, railings, fences, garden sheds. Swedish tar protects wood against moisture and mold. It prevents wood from blackening or turning grayish due to mold.
This product is naturally antiseptic. It restores shine to wood, waterproofs it, prevents rot, and extends the lifespan of the wood. The uses are numerous: window frames, solid wood doors, garden tables and benches, but also tipis, yurts, pontoons, caravans...
One application every 5 years is sufficient, which also makes it a very economical product.
